Managing Partner
Kyle Payne
Mr. Payne is the managing partner of Payne & Associates. His practice is focused on consumer protection and bankruptcy and his experience include representation in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcies, mortgage loan modification assistance, debt negotiation, and protecting consumers against unfair debt collection practices.
Mr. Payne received his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University, receiving a B.A. in History. During his time as an undergraduate, Mr. Payne lived in Sonora, Mexico, for two years where he became fluent in Spanish.
Mr. Payne received his Juris Doctor from Temple University Beasley School of Law where he was named to the Dean’s Honor List and through his dedication in providing legal services to the indigent was honored as a Rubin Public Interest Law Honor Society Fellow. Mr. Payne graduated with well-rounded experience in both adversarial and transactional law. He graduated with a certification in transactional law practice and began his courtroom experience through working for the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office and through his clerkship with the Honorable Joseph D. O’Keefe.
Mr. Payne lives in the Houston area with his wife and four kids. In addition to the law, he enjoys photography, video, and graphic design, playing basketball and golf, and above all spending time with his beautiful wife and children.
